A Walk in Camarda Park - November
2006 |

Looks
like a perfectly nice open space property to me. Note the rail-trail
on the left side of the image...
now, if we built a really sweet
suspension bridge across the gorge you could bike/hike to the park! |
 |
| The
entryway (with wetlands on both sides) will need to be widened
to accomodate vehicles coming in and
out. |
 |
| Silt fencing (not) doing it's job |
 |
| Ah, the teeming refuse! |
 |
| Look closely and you can see the
neighbors! |
 |
| A
level spot. Let's pull out the trees and make it a soccer field! |
 |
| Looks
level? Perhaps, but this, like the vast majority of the land, is
well sloped. |
 |
| Kindly hunters - kindly enough to
hide the ladder under dead beech branches - like the deer can't tell
the difference? |
 |
| A quiet country lane... um, er,
ATV trail! |
 |
| A good spot for a baseball field! |
 |
| No,
it's not about protecting the West Branch of the Croton River,
it's about pissing in it. |
 |
| You
know, if we blast the crap out of this spot we could put bathrooms
here! |
