I agree the county should have an anergy audit done on major county buildings and then set goals for reduction of energy use such as 10% by 2012 etc…
Jeff – If I can be of any help to the new County Commission on Alternative Energy -please let me know – I’ve been involved with NYSERDA and NYPA programs for 5 years and would be glad to lend some advice/experience… Andy Fischer

Michelle, the Catholic church in CT runs a pretty sweet business that deals with the state on numerous levels. A law was proposed to make the Church more accountable for their business dealings and, after a short while was pulled from consideration. Alas, some people cannot leave well enough alone and Mr. Turner kept after CT lawmakers long after the issue was dead and gone. Much like Rush Limbaugh who still blames Bill Clinton for everything, Mr. Turner is equally deranged.

Re: Al Turner…I was just curious as to what specific issues he was so against to make him say that about the CT lawmakers.
