The problem in the end may be that those who like the skies dark at night may viewed as “those intellectuals” or, “those people hate children!” as we hear the sports mafias intone until we’re ready to puke. But to vilify someone for wanting the skies dark, which may be the reason they moved here in the first place, is unfair and unjust. That the skies have been dark this long should speak to all of us.
