Passover begins at sundown this evening and I will not be traveling to Long Island for Seder as I have every year for the past 20+. My mom recently moved to Atlanta liberating me from any mandatory familial relations with that place. I still have family down there but in all these years they’ve never crossed the bridge north, an oft told tale by many who live up here. Folks down on the Island think it’s like Deliverance up here and I have no intention of ever dissuading them. [...] |
